We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our dynamic team at test45. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience working with Node.js and a solid understanding of back-end technologies. You should be well-versed in JavaScript and familiar with frameworks like Express.js. Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs is essential. We expect you to have a good grasp of database management, with hands-on experience in MongoDB and knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases. Proficiency in version control tools, particularly Git, is required. Additionally, you should have exposure to containerization with Docker and be comfortable setting up CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure will be advantageous. As part of our team, you will need to perform unit testing and be committed to writing clean, scalable code. Your role will involve collaborating within an Agile environment, so we value individuals who are team players, possess strong communication skills, and can adapt to changing project requirements. Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable server-side applications using Node.js.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Requirements

Minimum of 4 years of experience working with Node.js.
In-depth knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it such as Express, StrongLoop, etc.
Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, its quirks, and workarounds.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
Experience in implementing API security mechanisms such as OAuth, JWT.
Solid understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3.
Understanding of server-side templating languages like Jade, EJS.
Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Ability to create database schemas that represent and support business processes.

Bonus Points

Experience with WebSocket or similar technologies for real-time communication.
Knowledge of advanced Node.js frameworks such as NestJS or Koa.
Experience in TDD/BDD methodologies using Mocha, Chai, or similar frameworks.
